Play a score and follow the keyboard
Select a song, press play and watch the active note move through the practice score. The keyboard marks the matching key at the same time. Speed changes do not alter pitch.
Ode to Joy
PianoSong right-hand teaching excerpt in C major
The yellow score cell and key show the note that is sounding. Finger numbers refer to the right-hand teaching excerpt unless the song lesson says otherwise.
Use the controls as a practice loop
- Listen once at normal speed.Watch the score and keyboard without trying to play.
- Drag to the difficult move.Use the progress bar to begin just before the note that breaks the phrase.
- Reduce the speed.Choose 75% or 50%, then copy the highlighted keys with the same fingering.
- Return to 100%.Keep the shorter loop and check whether the pulse still feels even.
The on-screen keys also respond to clicks or taps, so you can locate a pitch before starting playback.

The player uses focused practice excerpts
These are short teaching excerpts and drills, not complete editions of every work. The aim is to make one musical problem visible: a repeated-note pulse, a pickup, a hand shape or a small stretch.
Playback uses browser synthesis rather than a recorded pianist. For version scope and rights notes, open the linked song lesson and read its music review record.
